Backend Engineer
I work as a backend engineer on the platform team. I build the REST APIs and micro services that power Imgur website and mobile apps. I mostly use Golang and Python, but also use PHP for maintaining legacy code base. I built and help manage the Kubernetes cluster (using kops) that hosts our microservices. I have experience working on AWS, Fastly, Haproxy, Kubernetes, Buildbot, GRPC, Protobuf, REST APIs, Git, Datadog, Docker and so on.

DevOps Engineer
I was a DevOps engineer for the Video Platform team. Largely focused on developing automation tools using Python and Go. Part of the job included Linux system administration (RHEL), CI/CD (Jenkins, Ansible and Chef), building proof-of-concept using latest cloud tech for the video transcoding service infrastructure.
