Part of Cisco Remote Management Services/Cloud Computing Support team providing tier-1 and tier-2 network support. Support Cisco System's global network and various partner Clientele (AMER, EMEA, and APAC theaters, 10k+ devices across multiple customers monitored and managed), working with WAN and LAN environments with a wide range of Cisco family routers and switches, including but not limited to 1800, 1900, 2800, 2900, 3800 series Cisco Routers and similar series switches also including 4500, 6500, and Nexus platforms for core support. Heavily involved in ISP engagement in troubleshooting and problem resolution, Cisco TAC collaboration, and various tier-2 oriented configuration and network route troubleshooting tasks daily.

Additionally engaged in developing new and refined automation to optimize tier-1 ticket volume through use of IPsoft's IPcenter technology and multiple scripting languages.


Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd-tier support for network devices and carrier circuits
* Interact with toolsets to Automate tasks Automate tasks as much as possible through the development of scripts and administration tools.
* Monitoring of system stability, availability and performance.
* Ensuring 24x7x365 operation of internal and client systems.
* Drive service provides to resolve issues in the shortest time possible
* Assist in implementing new network technologies and equipment by working with a team of network engineers.
* Perform documentation of procedures.
* Execute change management according to documented procedures.
