“The computer is not the thing, it’s the thing that helps you get to the thing” I like working in an environment where the business goals are clear and well thought-out, and then the challenge of translating those goals into a treasure map for the dev team. It looks like this is common to a bunch of successful tech companies. Besides work, I’m endlessly fascinated by all the new tech and enjoy tinkering sometimes, just for the sake of it. In the future I’d like to help find a way to build really engaging software applications for our animal friends; VR adventures for Dogs? or a selfie camera for Quokkas, so they can admire their own cuteness?

- Explore TCM is a smartphone application which applies principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to improve the health of its users. It connects to the Huawei wearable fitness-tracker and heart rate monitor.
- PhysioQ allows users of the same fitness-tracker to participate in clinical trials at Harvard Medical Centre and other research institutions. The app shares participant data directly with researchers.
- Implemented separate UIs for consumer and research-facing versions of the apps & integrated backend APIs.
- Written in Java and Swift, with some objective C and Bluetooth integration.
