I developed and maintain globeenergygroup.com, a corporate website for a renewable energy consultancy that acts as an intermediary between project developers and funding sources across solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biofuel, and energy storage sectors. The site presents the company's service offering, a structured taxonomy of funding categories spanning renewable energy, environmental initiatives, industry and infrastructure, energy resources, and technological advancements, and a regularly updated industry news section organised by topic and region.
Built on WordPress with a LEMP stack, the site features a multi-level funding taxonomy with dedicated landing pages for each sector and sub-sector, a categorised news/blog system with tagging for topics (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Climate, Energy Storage) and regions (Europe, China, APAC, US), responsive layouts with WebP-optimised imagery, and contact forms routing enquiries to the business.
My responsibilities cover information architecture and site structure design, WordPress theme development and customisation, taxonomy and category configuration, content management workflows, image optimisation, on-page SEO, and ongoing maintenance including security updates and content publishing support.
