In this position, I work closely with the store manager to ensure the store is managed and run within the company policies. This includes audits of various part of the business, recruitment of staff and management of people, dealing with customer complaints and customer relations, finance, controllable profit and wages forecasting. And I am also the point of contact between the store and the Head Office regarding Health & Safety, Customer, Finance and People.

The core role of this position is to supervise the store colleagues on the sales floor and warehouse, if appropriate to ensure daily delegated tasks are completed in an effective and timely manner, within the Company policies and procedures.

The core responsibility of this role is to physically count every product in store by using special hardware and software supplied by the company, report any stock losses and gained to the store manager, investigate stock losses and gained, and level stock accordingly if required.

In this high customer service role, the focus is to greet any customer on the shop floor, help them to find the correct product they are after by adhering to the appropriate customer service communication skills and accurate product knowledge. Sharing ideas with colleagues to resolve any problems as it’s all about teamwork. Shop replenishment, checking of stock availability, reporting of any safety issues, identifying product damages on the shop floor and warehouse is part of the work role.
