I was in charge of research & technological development and comprehensive information & technological strategy formulation. I also developed their web-based hospital information management called Recosoft, accessible at: https://toroclinic.com/recosoft/

Leading research and development, it was bestowed upon me to formulate solutions that ensure all our clients are catered for. To counter this, we made our telemedicine projects revolve around Chatbots, USSD, and short SMS code applications to cater to populations in low internet access and penetration areas. These applications are powered by natural language processing, machine learning, text & data mining, and health informatics.

My role extended to helping the facility fine-tune its marketing strategies to ensure a return on investment by analyzing and evaluating them using key performance indicators (KPI) set per their organization and acted upon from reports which could be generated from reporting dashboards I developed.

Recotech (Records Technologies) is a Health Informatics company specializing in Web-Based
Electronic Medical Records Systems. My role was to develop custom-made information
management systems and websites for clients. I was also responsible for maintaining and enhancing their off-the-shelve software, which was deployed in several clinics in Botswana during
my time with them. This was not only limited to development as I also took part in system installation and implementation(setting up local webservers computer networks required to access the system locally using intranet), user training and support. Further duties involved setting up private email servers for clients and user training and support.

I was responsible for troubleshooting and fixing IT-related issues in the clinic. and attended to staff IT queries and supported them when they needed assistance. I was also in charge of developing and implementing a web-based patient queue management system called Queue Master which I proposed that the clinic needed to manage its patient and facility information to optimize its work flow.

Queue Master facilitated meaningful use of data generated from patient registrations which were impractical prior to its implementation as the facility utilized traditional methods (pen and paper) for patient registrations. Hence, this tool helps them optimize their workflow and made it relatively easy to allocate resources & budget and plan accordingly, formulate policies, monitor and evaluate them and generate collection ratio reports.
