Fluvi is an advanced and scalable platform for the delivery and management of video content, both on demand media type and live media type for Internet consumers, mobile phones and all new multimedia terminals.
Fluvi provides automated workflow for uploading video resources to a centralized server cluster, resource tagging using metadata, resource encoding to various formats for both delivery (playable) and download. All video content can be used either as an embed video in an article using integration with content management systems through the player or as a stand alone solution using our video portal.
Fluvi is also an archive system for videos and other resources as well, that are searchable through a built in search engine inside the portal and administration pages.
Both player and portal are customizable in terms of look and there tools for skinning them. The customization is done for each company account and it's read by the player and the portal upon initialization phase.
The live broadcasting tool called Livecaster, allows users to control a live event and combine video with synchronized slides, near or on top of the player. Livecaster is suitable for transmission of press conferences, lectures, council meetings and others.
For encoding video on demand, the platform uses Viz Mobilize – a standardized comprehensive system that transcodes videos for a variety of codecs.
In the case of live events, the participants that are watching the event using the player can post live questions that are being sent in real time to the moderators. There are two tools that allow moderating questions and viewing questions that were approved by the moderators.
The platform also supports restricting access to videos by country and/or IP, thus allowing clients to protect their content.
