I've been working as a vascular surgeon for the past 23 yrs. I graduated in Information Systems 9 yrs ago and have been using that knowledge mainly to solve problems in my daily medical practice, like generating reports, capturing images, and keeping track of patients' data. I wrote software to support the paper-based patient record system of the hospital I work for, which has been active for the past four years. My goal for the next years is to transition into software development as a career.

I wrote software to support the paper-based patient record system of a hospital here in my town, which has been active for the past four years and served many doctors and patients. It is a web application that uses firebase, web components (Polymer), and a few NodeJs cloud functions to support authentication, form printing, and image storage. My work now is to maintain this system while the hospital finishes the implementation of a more complete electronic patient record system. I have been using Golang for my private projects only so far.

Hospital Geral Roberto Santos
It is a software to support the paper-based patient record system of the hospital where I work. It keeps track of patients' data and helps doctors to fill and print all the forms needed by the hospital: daily notes, prescriptions, exam requests, and reports. I still do minor fixes and improvements in this software and manage the infrastructure it runs on.
