At Nubank, I have:
- Saved thousands of dollars with log ingestion
- Optimized one of the data ingestion systems to produce 4x less metadata, therefore reducing the load on downstream systems.
- Helped Nubank to reduce by 56% the level of PII data exposure.
- Co-led a crash investigation and co-hosted the post-mortem meeting which was presented to the engineering chapter (with 500+ attendees).
- Led a knowledge-sharing initiative within our Squad for ~6 months, planning and hosting 12 sessions
- Led a project to enable one of the systems to comply with Data Protection laws by adding PII data deletion feature.
- Developed a command-line tool to empower users of the data platform to check for dataset schema mismatches.

Took part of an agile and remote-friendly team while performing a hands-on technical leadership by enabling the team as we are building and extending the backend services of Atfarm product; A non-comprehensive list of responsibilities includes regular 1on1s with team members; taking part in agile ceremonies; setting and revamping the engineering culture; whiteboarding solutions; introducing an API gateway and securing it with OAuth2; 3rd-Party integration with Satellite imagery provider and email services. Evangelizing and enabling the API-First mindset using OpenAPI spec together with API contract testing. Worked with a distributed and remote-friendly agile team where I was responsible for supporting and revamping the centralized logs and metrics pipeline by implementing scalable and resilient services for PlayStation Now, Sony's video game streaming platform.
