Assigned to Inditex as a Backend Engineer, I participated in the development of new features and the resolution of critical issues for authentication and product information systems. I worked with technologies such as NodeJS, TypeScript, MongoDB, AWS, S3, Docker, and Redis, and collaborated on the migration of services from Azure to AWS, applying hexagonal architecture principles and software development best practices.

In addition to my development responsibilities, I played a key role in ensuring code quality by implementing automated tests, as our teams did not have a dedicated QA team. I contributed to the design and execution of unit, integration, and performance tests using tools like Karate for integration tests, k6 for performance tests, and Postman for API validation. I applied these strategies to ensure quality in every new feature and optimize service stability.

Additionally, I participated in code reviews, promoting best software development practices and ensuring coverage with automated tests.

I collaborated with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative features based on microservices architectures, using technologies like AWS, React Native, NestJS, Express.js, Docker, Linux, MySQL and MongoDB. I also worked with Elasticsearch (OpenSearch) and monitoring tools like Kibana.

I contributed to projects involving ETL process updates and the development of a PWA in React Native. For API testing, I used Postman as part of the automation process. Since we didn’t have a dedicated QA team, each developer was responsible for implementing automated tests, including unit, functional, integration, and performance tests. Additionally, I participated in code reviews and peer reviews, led by the technical team.
