Update: I'm currently not looking for new positions. Hi! My name is Giovanni and I'm a software engineer with 17 years career. I'm PRETTY GOOD at frontend but also got skills at backend. I got honored by 9 awards already. I have developed more than 100 sites and probably given maintenance to 300. I've started my career as Graphic Designer, Webmaster, Web Developer, Frontend, Backend, Full Stack. I went to 3 societies and passed by 11 companies. From a design studio to advertising agencies, digital agencies, software houses and startups. I have made many graphic design, image processing, 3D, web design/development, CMSs, ecommerces, portals, APIs, hybrid/native apps, animations/TV commercials and probably many other things. I really love to DEVELOP! Internet, apps and modern technologies. I know D/X/HTML/5, CSS 2.1/3, Flash/Flex, ActionScript 2/3, PHP, jQuery, OpenCart, WordPress, Swift, JSON/XML, Smarty, CodeIgniter, MySQL, Photoshop/Illustrator, Angular/Ionic/TypeScript, Git, Grunt/Gulp, Bootstrap, SASS/LESS/Stylus/styled components and MANY other stuff. I've hosted in many places and know some AWS services. My favorite stuffs nowadays are React, JavaScript, CSS, Laravel, Figma, HTML5 and Next.js. I got a very good eye to detail and user experience. I also love information architecture and learning! If we got a problem, I'm pretty sure we'll figure it out! I like to work as a team, but I'm good individually too. Hired to be a part-time remote Frontend Engineer but since I was full-time at SomosGAD_, I didn't stay at the company. Cheerful (today Goodworld) is a startup based at Washington, DC, that helps donors and charity companies connect each other and realize positive actions. They were elected one of the most innovative companies of the world by Fast Companies and made 3.2M in investments. The co-founder and actual product owner is my personal friend, we've already worked together in another company in the past. Their tech are much serverless, React, Next.js and GraphQL. I regret being hired by Cheerful at the wrong time of my life.
