I've shared knowledge and experience with some awesome people so far and learned a lot from them - Including the importance of and how to contribute to Open Source Projects. As well as being part of local communities, we focus on sharing knowledge about software development and soft skills related to the field. And as I can tell has a big impact on me and who I am as a professional and a person. I also had the opportunity to participate in some railsrumble events, and in 2010 the project I participated in was ranked third place. My second time in railsrumble was in 2015; our project (the Codamos Project) focused on listing all technology events. It also focused on diversity and female empowerment in an attempt to change the mindset in technology and promote more welcoming environments, especially to new adepts.
