Analysis of different Deep Learning and SLAM technologies for outdoor/indoor mapping in mobile devices.

Designed and implemented map compilation pipeline for map data that is used by a new vector tile based visual map renderer design. This included designing cluster computed map compiler that was able to handle map data of entire world and publish optimized tiles to AWS S3, and rules-based map simplification and optimization framework.

Designed and implemented network connectivity and online operation for Android, Linux, and Windows platforms. Performed assessments and evaluations of different technology selections for in-device REST services.

Member of the CTO team that designed future smart phone systems for various existing and emerging technical enablers.

Technology expert executing various studies on Symbian and Linux system software. Primary project on virtualization of Symbian, in which provided support to multiple 3rd party companies with implementation on Nokia hardware platform with both Symbian and Linux and evaluated the vendors from engineering point of view. Other projects included for example study of a low-cost Linux platform using existing Nokia HW platforms, and study of a running S60 software on top of Linux kernel. Contributed on Symbian multiprocessor platform integration.
