Working in Lazada's super-fast growing environment brought several challenges for me. As the release manager I needed to deal with different interests from business and technology sides and make a followable and transparent release strategy for our high-tech GO Lang & PHP based stack. Release management here was not only process related, it was a complex and growing area as technology changes. Hence I worked close to release engineering team and maintain the workflows in JIRA and CI tools like Jenkins & TeamCity. As I had a technical background already I also supported our DevOps team by creating automations and reporting toolset. I built a Slack bot which helps developers, QA engineers, sysadmins and even security and monitoring teams by bringing their daily routines on Slack.

In 2014 I decided to move to Vietnam. As a senior full stack PHP Developer at Lazada I had to deal with lots of interesting tasks in aware of the fact that we are building a $ 1bn project. I worked on the system's backend following Kanban. I got a small team very fast, and we were responsible for quality improvement and supporting the whole team's software releases.

At T-Systems my role was to lead approximately 20 members (developers, system administrators, database administrators, application administrators) in their everyday operational work, managing the team's budget, leading projects which we got from business side. Additionally, I was highly involved in process management tasks. My clients included German financial companies and for this reason my team maintained high level security and quality standards. As a former developer in the same team I was also involved in software architect topics.

During these years I primarily worked with Oracle-based solutions and I was programming using PERL, PL/SQL, KSH, HTML, PHP, JS and CSS technologies. I had various architectural tasks, including planning our systems' DB structures. As a lead developer I had to coordinate five developers, ensure our clients' requests were up to our standards and arrange the tasks within the team. Together with my colleagues we followed the KANBAN method as we had to solve a great deal of issues.
