Ruby on Rails developer, DevOps engineer
Ruby on Rails developer responsible for creation, maintenance, optimization, debugging and support of internal KPI monitoring system and other on-demand automation tasks created with the Ruby language. The primary project (KPI monitoring web site) is constructed using Ruby on Rails with JQuery for JavaScript tasks. The design is heavily based on the Bootstrap CSS engine but has custom built components too. Database backend of the project is running on MSSQL server. Even thought the application uses ActiveRecord to connect to the database since it has the capability of dynamically creating database tables besides the main ActiveRecord interface it also uses Models used as templates by changing the name of the used table on the fly whenever needed. Background jobs for data generation are based on Sidekiq and for caching the application uses REDIS.

My main role is to provide support to the customers of the company in the fields of Comptel InstantLink and Comptel Number Management platforms.
Additional roles I performed in the Sofia office of the company was to be a service excellence coordinator for the office. In this role I had the responsibility to coordinate all activities in Comptel’s Sofia office regarding service excellence. As a service excellence coordinator my responsibility is to provide clear way of communication between customers and service oriented parts of the company, improve internal communications, increase the clarity for the new employees on the internal and external communication channels, organize knowledge transfer from between different departments in the company as well as between more experienced employees and the less experienced ones. Another secondary role I had was the one of a Quality Agent. The role was closely following and expanding the one of the service excellence coordinator of the office and the main responsibility is to be able to support the rest of the team by advising them how to implement different aspects of the quality system of the company, holding seminars and trainings on the system and helping with different questions that might arise, including possibilities of improvement of the quality system.
