Ever since writing my first program, I have been obsessed with using software to build new things and solve practical problems. I really enjoy the feeling if an app that I created finally works. Computer Science is a very interesting field, which develops incredibly fast and opens up new possibilities. Currently, I develop software for machine vision solutions, which are used mostly in manufacturing and production. I also do Technical Support to help our customers use our products. During secondary school, I taught myself to code and developed video games using the unity game engine. After school, I decided to start an apprenticeship as a software developer, which helped me a lot to build up my skill set. I learned how to work structured, how to write clean, maintainable and testable code and how to build user-friendly applications. The first professional project I developed was a camera-browser which helped users without much technical knowledge to use industry-cameras. The final project for my apprenticeship was an application for image search- and classification using edge detection. After my apprenticeship, I started to work for Stemmer in the software engineering team inside our technical support. I mainly worked on support requests for our machine vision SDK and was involved in customer-specific software development. In addition, I'm doing my high school degree part-time, to study computer science after my apprenticeship. In my free time, I often go to tech- and startup meetups to network and meet new people. Tech Skills: C# | .Net Framework | WPF | Test Driven Development | MVVM | Image Processing | Python | HTML | CSS | JavaScript | React.js | Node.js | MongoDB | SQL
