As senior developer for Plantyn I develop and maintain for the financial modules of Informat. Informat is a brand of Plantyn that delivers school administrative software solutions to educational organisations. In my role I do more than developing new software using cutting edge technologies and arcitectures. I also help my fellow developers understanding and using these new technologies.
Working for Plantyn has improved my skills to facilitate migrations, create high availability solutions, create high performance and througput applications and helping other people.

As the system administrator for D.O.P. West Flandres I'm resonsible for second line support and maintenance of the entire IT system. Next to that I maintain and develop a web based registration and reporting system.

As the system administrator for this NGO I maintained over 80 computers and 6 servers for over 110 staff members spread out over 6 locations. To maintain a level of professionalism in the field, I had to create websites, machine to machine conversions through API's, tools and apps for our staff to use. Working for an NGO means you constantly have to joggle between budgets and delivering quality service and working here for so many years gave me quite the experience in that field.
