• Write programs in a variety of computer languages, such as C#, Python and VB.NET
• Update and expand existing programs
• Debug programs by testing for and fixing errors
• Build and use computer-assisted software engineering (CASE) tools to automate the writing of some code
• Use code libraries, which are collections of independent lines of code, to simplify the writing
• Collaborate with other programmers to develop features.
• Preparing reports and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance
• Develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
• Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Working with teammates in the migration of older applications to current Microsoft technologies.
• Developing, refining, and tuning integrations between applications.
• Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems.
