- Developing and documenting algorithm and system prototypes required to address user requirements.
- Translating system designs and algorithms to computer language.
- Developing unit and integration tests for all the modules being developed.
- Performing tests on the programmed application (Unit tests, Integration Tests, Stress testing etc.)
- Maintaining source code by versioning all changes and documenting the changes.
- Documenting the applications technical manual.
- Works with service management to produce applications user manual.
- Systematically troubleshoots and closes all reported system bugs.
- Responsible for development of application level security features in line with MRA security policies and best practices.

- Lecturing and assessing students in various computer science and computer engineering subjects.
- Supervising students on their projects.

- Understand client requirements and develop Systems Specification requirements
- Use standard graphic design tools to design customized interfaces for each module and page of mobile application, reports and dashboard
- Develop a robust code in Java for each of the modules for the mobile application in Android Studio or any cross platform developer tool.
- Integrate geo mapping features. multimedia features such as audio, video and images within the application.
- Design the database for the platform using MySQL
- Design and develop for the platform using PHP and MySQL
- Design customized reports and relevant queries for the database using PHP and MySQL
- Maintain entire system functionality and ensure minimal latency between data upload
