Project: Online Travel Agency website for searching and buying air tickets with 2 million active users per month

I was managing a team of 4 frontend developers and was responsible for communication with business owners. At the same time I coded as a regular programmer for more than 70% of my time at work

Before I became a lead developer, I managed to ensure that every engineer on my team does code review, communicates directly with product managers / designers / other teams, deploys their code to production and knows all parts of the product / application

Achievements:
- Added i18n (internationalization) to website: the company entered international markets
- Migrated project to TypeScript and covered significant part of logic with static types
- Interviewed and onboarded frontend developers
- Improved frontend infrastructure by updating all frameworks and libraries to latest versions
- Built year-long backlog of internal tasks to improve frontend codebase
- Documented project architecture and deploy processes
- Set up AB testing infrastructure with Optimizely
- Minified Webpack bundle size by removing legacy dependencies

- Improved search form rendering time in ~3 times by refactoring it with React hooks
- Added caching for rendered html+css on SSR which improved site loading time in 2 seconds
- Architected and developed new search engine results page

- Developed from scratch frontend and backend for company's Affiliate Network website
- Worked on several nodejs services: added integration and unit tests, CI setup from scratch
- Improved frontend code-base by adding CI scripts for analyzing unused code
