The first dedicated front-end hiring for Alvin, an Estonian startup. When I joined, there was just fullstack engineers, A LOT of unused code, type issues with Typescript, inline styles, a really MVP product.

After 5 months of work, I was able to refactor most of the application, added linting, format and pre-commit hooks to add a development pattern. Also, I've implemented composition API in most of the components on Quasar v1 to start a roadmap to Quasar V2 and Vue3.

I've add a new components architecture, 7-1 SASS architecture, developed new features and revamped
almost every screen. I acted as a tech lead, responsible for code documentation, managing and helping in UI tasks as well. Also helped with UX designs with Figma, wireframing and more...

This was a remote position for an European based company.

FileCloud is an enterprise file sharing company and I was able to contribute with them for almost 2 years as an award winning UI developer.

I was able to work in some awesome features that helped the company to raise a $30M Series-A fund.

💡 Workflow Automation: I worked on a no-code, drag-n-drop based, flowchart application that enable users to trigger actions based on file, time or user actions. This was a three months project that I was responsible for:
- Drag and Drop support, styling, triggers wizzard, application layout, workflow variables integrated with fields, 6 actions pages+, integrations and more...
This project made me the first winner of the Technical Achievement Award.

📱 Responsiveness: I did the entire responsiveness for the FileCloud application. My architecture was replicated to the desktop and mobile application.

📝 WebEditor: I've built a live markdown and text editor, using a markdown renderer plugin. It's integrate with the platform and allows the user to live create/edit and preview his text and markdown files.

📉 Metadata: A highly complex feature that allows the user dynamically edit, delete and create files metadata. The trick here is all the fields came from the backend in a hard way to parser it and make it readable to the user.

📁 Encrypted Folders: A zero trust architecture feature, that no password is stored anywhere. It had to be integrated with the entire system, all files, folders and shared assets should support this feature.

👩🏻‍🦯 VPAT: I was responsible to work on the accessibility on the application, so, things like initial focused fields, tab support, text to speech, ARIA and more was implemented.
