- FPGA design (in VHDL language) for safety-critical avionics systems.
- FPGA, integration and electronic hardware bring-up, verification and troubleshooting.
- Writing plans and standards to guide the design (planning process).
- Requirement-based development (design processes).
- Leads the team development as Product Owner and Scrum Master roles.
- Leads analysis of customer and system requirements and development of architectural approaches and detailed specifications.
- Leads the elaboration, implementation and review of DO-254 plans for a DAL-A aeronautical development.
- Leads development, verification of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
- Leads reviews of simulation and analysis activity to assure compliance to requirements and plans.
- Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Leads activities in support of Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services.
- Coordinates engineering support throughout the life cycle of the product.
- Plans research projects to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and direction for the development team.
- Participate in daily meetings, retrospectives and seek opportunities to drive best practices.
- Lead the software team to deliver high quality and innovative software solutions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development, through both gated checks like code reviews and more supportive approaches such as mentoring or identifying stretch opportunities for team members.
