- Merchandising displays and products
- Designing point of sale signage & posters for sales, special offers etc
- Demonstrating products and explaining product specifications & details
- Dealing with customers warranty issues & returns

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

- Open and closing of store along with key holder responsibilities.
- Day to day money handling: bank lodgements, end of day reconciliations, till & safe floats.
- Supervising staff members in day to day tasks: selling, cleaning, merchandising, stock taking, deliveries.
- Record keeping of staff members as part of continuous appraisals: sales targets, selling techniques & performance, service to customers, assigned tasks etc.
- Creating and organising POS signage and special offers for both the Drogheda and Dundalk stores and overseeing their implementation.
- Customer service: returns, warranty issues, responding to customer’s requirements and future needs.
- Provide relief cover regularly for the Drogheda store, again in a management role.
- Maintain and update the the procedures, policies and operations manuals for PC Superstore that I have written and which have been implemented in all eight branches.

Additionally I created a custom database system (Retail Administration Suite) that intigrated with the EPOS system used - allowing a history of staff sales targets to be viewed and evaluated. This system was implemented in all PC Superstore branches.
