Sjötorp's Hostel
Aug 2019 - Nov 2019
Freelance
This was my first project as a freelancing web developer. I was tasked with creating a website for a local hostel. The public facing website has support for multiple languages and allows the user to book a room at the hostel. I also created a dashboard where the owner could manage his bookings, update room availability, and set the pricing of the rooms. It was a great learning experience and made me realize the importance of CI/CD. The website is hosted on a DigitalOcean droplet, and to update, I have to SSH into it and pull from the GitHub repo, it's a pain to do. Since this project, I've only been using CI/CD tools like Netlify, Vercel, and AWS CodePipeline to deploy projects.

A tool I wrote to be able to upload faunadb resources without going to the fauna dashboard. It allows you to write all your schema, functions, roles, and indexes in your project and then upload them with a single command.

MoonTalk
Apr 2020 - Present
MoonTalk is sort of a social network focused on showcasing the most important and well-authored questions. Every user has the ability to create a question, but only the best questions will be published for users to vote on and discuss. It is the users themselves that decide which questions are the most important or most interesting by voting in a pre-publish stage. The aim of the website is to enhance public discussion and highlight the most important questions in society.
