In charge of Engineering Management and culture, my role is to ensure our 40 (and counting) engineers have the best environment to build our product. This means hiring and growing people, developing good practices of work and building scalable processes when needed. We value collaboration, self-development and enthusiasm and it drives the way we work every day.

As the first CTO of JobTeaser, my role was to create an environment to enable scaling the engineering team. During these 5 years, our team 2 Ruby on Rails engineers grew to about 40 engineers!

Our stack evolved and now includes Golang, Elixir, Python and React. We are currently transforming our architecture to microservices using gRPC and Kafka and completed our migration to cloud infrastructure (AWS + Kubernetes).

We evolved our engineering organization and management regularly to adjust to our different scales (almost doubling the size of the team each year), keeping teams under the 2-pizza limit and encouraging autonomy and ownership. Our latest change was implementing the OKR method and aligning our organization with impact squads that own the OKRs.
