The team I was working in my previous position at GIG was acquired by Casumo. This gave me an excellent opportunity to be a key part of migrating the existing codebase to their infrastructure. We updated the stack and strive to migrate it from the HOC approach of recompose to the new norm of react Hooks reducing the dependency on 3rd party libraries.

During my time at Gig I was part of a pool of developers. That allowed me to work in several projects with different stacks. The first project was built with angular and typescript in which I was taking part of expanding new gamification features such as rewards and competitions. After some framework research I suggested to use Vue and Vuex for a new project with tight deadline requirements for a brand new pay and play casino from scratch. The team successfully delivered the casino in 3 months. Later on the team was allocated to another client whose casino was built on top of React, Recompose and Redux as state management framework.

Working in an environment where every opinion from the team is important, makes your work as developer to have a real impact to the client/user. This allows me to evolve not only my developer skills, but also my UX and design skills.
