- Product Context: Worked remotely on Wabeh, a FinTech Loan Origination System (LOS) for financing high-value assets (mobile phones, e-bikes, solar products). The system utilized M-Pesa statements and background checks for automated creditworthiness assessments.
- Design & Prototyping: Spearheaded the UI/UX redesign strategy by creating wireframes and Proof-of-Concepts (PoC) using Visily.ai. This guided the visual migration and ensured stakeholder alignment before development.
- Architecture Modernization: Led the complete rewrite of the legacy codebase, moving from a complex Kotlin/Mavericks MVI/Hilt stack to a modern, scalable Jetpack Compose, MVVM, and Koin architecture.
- DevOps & Optimization: Engineered a custom backend solution using Amazon S3 and AWS Lambdas to handle efficient ABI split distribution, significantly reducing APK size for fragmented device markets. Integrated Crashlytics for real-time stability monitoring.
