Design and ensure the structural integrity of steel and mechanical elements such as stages, stage lifts, mobile platforms, turntables, hoists, acrobatic elements and scenic elements for projects related to the entertainment industry: Entertainment, Olympic Games ceremonies, Amusement Parks, Casinos and so on ...

- Work closely with the client and other disciplines to design custom unique steel & mechanical structures;
- Perform linear and non-linear structural analyses and finite element analyses;
- Perform computer 3D modeling of structures and mechanical assemblies;
- Prepare engineering calculations, advanced Excel or Mathcad sheets and detailed reports;
- Support Research & Development department in the development of new products;
- Supervise a team of 5-6 engineers and designers through the project lifetime;
- Participate in coordination meetings and follow up on project progress with the internal team, the subcontractors and the client;
- Provide technical assistance to the team on-site;
- Participate in the development and the continuous improvement of the engineering department, especially through the creation of a database of norms and codes;
