I have experience and expertise in front-end web development and graphic design stretching back well into the last century! I am hard-working and self-motivated to get things done and meet deadlines. I am highly skilled with several vector graphic and DTP/ layout editor platforms, including Adobe CC and Affinity. My technical graphic skills include logo design, corporate identity/style guides, biological artwork, scientific equipment, package design, conference and trade show booths, brochures, flyers, magazines, manuals and documentation. I am highly skilled in HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, React and various templating systems. I have designed dozens of frontend themes/ templates for web content management systems (WordPress, Magento, HubSpot and others), static website generators (Jekyll, Harp, Gulp, Eleventy, Gatsby) and marketing email systems (Campaign Monitor, Vertical Response, Mailchimp, HubSpot). I have built websites for several small businesses and startups, and I designed, built, added content and maintained the REPROCELL Europe (formerly Reinnervate) website and REPROCELL global websites for several years. I am currently employed as the Strategy and Marketing Planner for REPROCELL where I continue building and maintaining the global biotech company’s online presence, on Visualsoft and HubSpot. I have an increasing role in online marketing (website, blogging and social media), while still producing paper based and canvas based marketing materials. I have a background in chemistry and molecular biology, laboratory work, university biotech spin-out business, in designing scale-up manufacturing systems for polymerisation processes and in writing COSHH documentation, SOPs, training manuals and other internal and external-facing literature. When I am not geeking out on computers and gadgets, my other hobbies include hill walking around the north of England, and cooking real food.
