Exploratory Data Analysis and Binary Classification on Heart Disease data

Machine learning techniques to predict heart disease, facilitating early detection and prevention. Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on a heart disease dataset was conducted to uncover patterns and corre- lations. Predictive models based on Support Vector Machine (SVM), Random Forest, and Logistic Regression algorithms were used to classify individuals having heart disease or not, while feature engineering techniques enhanced model performance and interpretability. The best accuracy was obtained with Random Forest, leveraging its ability to capture complex dataset relationships.
Multiclass Classification of Mental Disorders

Predictive model to classify mental disorders, aiding in prevention and possible treatment strategies. Various types of mental disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder type-2) were labeled encoded for classifi- cation purposes. A diverse range of supervised machine learning algorithm were tested and the performance of each model was assessed via cross-validation.
Supervised Learning with Linear Regression on CO2 emissions by vehicles
- Present
Analysis conducted to identify vehicles mainly involved in gas emissions. Linear regression was applied to clearly visualize features relationships. Through visualization, normality was also assessed. Out- liers were removed to enhance data integrity and categorical variables were managed with one-hot encoding. Predictive modeling consisted of linear regression, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), and Random Forest algo- rithms. Lastly, hyperparameter search was done with GridSearch for Random Forest and KNN models. Model performance was evaluated based on R-squared scores.
