I was the Technical manager for the EMF Laboratory, which is a testing and measurement laboratory accredited in accordance with ISO 17025.

Here, I developed testing methods for new frequency bands that are used by 5G radio base stations and procured equipment in a cost efficient way by negotiating with instrument vendors to get the best deals. I developed automated tests (both mechanical and software automation) of radio base station products in order to minimize repetitive tasks for the technicians and I was driving the development cycle of our in-house analysis software in a team of six persons. I also took part in creating two interactive demos of new inventions made by the team.

The scope of the tests are measurements of Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), field-strength measurements and numerical computer simulations.

I analyzed how smartphones behave in a mobile network and helped product managers to answer questions about what is going on in customer networks and demonstrated our knowledge to our customers.

I created tools that parsed logs from radio network nodes and Wireshark and presented the data in graphical plots. I also took the initiative to transform our post-processing tools into a real-time graph and invented a live demo that was shown at Mobile World Congress.

Analyzing, designing test cases for and verifying the proper function of new software features in the mobile radio access network products. It is a position that interfaces both the software designers and the customers. I took part in customer support and in a transfer project to our R&D center in Nanjing, China where I trained integration testers in our ways of working.
