My primary task here was to optimize the University's impact case studies for REF2021, an industry-wide evaluation exercise for universities that strongly affects future funding and reputation. This concerned the Allied Health Unit of Assessment and involved working on assessing and evidencing the translation of research to societal impact, e.g., commercialization, policy change, or improved practice. I surveyed faculty-wide research and translational activity, via in-depth interviews and online sources. I drafted first versions of, and supported subsequent writing of, case studies demonstrating impact and other forms of showcasing. Evaluation of research outputs, including the creation of software for automated retrieval and analysis of bibliometric data.

Further research on the development of reliable implicit measures, the use of AI to analyze emotional content of text, and effecting change via cognitive-emotional training paradigms.

Working on collaborations on computerized therapeutic interventions and automatic cognitive processing.

Teaching methods and statistics, biological psychology, attitudes, and psychology and technology. Research primarily on the development of improved psychological tasks (implicit measures) to detect commonalities and individual differences in automatic emotional processes. Administrative tasks included programme management and working as member and chair of the ethics committee.
