Through the years I've worked with a bunch of different things, including but not limited to:
- supporting the web development teams from the infrastructure side (spinning up vm-s, setting up load balancing, reviewing db schema changes, etc.).
- taking over the ownership and maintenance for our in-house deployment tool(php, mysql, gearman, monit)
- taking over the ownership and maintenance for the CI infrastructure for the web teams(chef,jenkins,jobdsl,vagrant, lxc), also setting up and maintaining the CI infrastructure for the infra team
- was part of a two-man team of rewriting the duplication/redundancy layer for VOD storage using akka, idempotent rest api and ftp/fxp
- extending our monitoring infrastructure (using nagios and zabbix)
- was part of the team which created our initial central logging infrastructure using fluentd, elasticsearch and kibana
- was part of the original team who created Openduty which is an opensource alerting and incident management tool written in python
- working with our ganeti cluster and picking up some cloud knowledge working with aws and softlayer
- working on an on-prem appliance using chef, packer, jenkins and python
- using chef vault and hashicorp vault for secret management
- using consul and a little bit of zookeeper for service discovery and leader election

I was part of the team working on the Discovery Experience (the search and result pages, content promotion, etc.), working mostly on the php backend and solr.

We were writing PHPUnit tests and I also contributed to our development and testing infrastructure (chef, jenkins, ant).
