Planned, architected, and built Eventbrite Venue:
The world’s first all in one solution for booking agents, promoters, and club owners
- Planned and executed incremental rollouts of features.
- Fully integrated 47 API endpoints, working with teams in Mendoza for
augmentation of specific functions.
- Extracted and Open-sourced the official Ruby Eventbrite v3 SDK.
- Work as one of the original Super 8 during the TicketFly acquisition.
- Guided Artist/Performances feature development.
- Refactored Venue service to better suit the needs of club owners.
Developed architectural approach for fulfillment service:
- Bootstrapped system-wide order printing for in-house fulfillment.
- Setup system architecture.
Launched Theme Builder Studio:
Maintained A+ code quality and 100% test coverage during a startup-
esque launch from nothing to a full product in three months.
- Planned initial feature set.
- Developed architectural approach.
- Trained all incoming staff on how to test, build, and extend the
architecture.
- Developed commerce, stripe integration, and permissions/grants flow.
- Developed the highly scalable external website servicing application.
Launched Pulse:
The first end to end solution for cross-organization reports at Eventbrite
- Interviewed customers on what their pain points were. One we later
presented a prototype to a customer in Salt Lake City, and ended up
productizing that feedback into Eventbrite Pulse
Scaled globally for all music customers in less than six months
Fostered and nurtured a community of Test Driven Development / Design Principles:
- Converted Villena office to TDD.
- Provided extensive mentoring in San Francisco and Villena.
- Regularly advised teams on approach and principles.
- Launched tooling to prove the removal of thousands of hours of technical debt in three short months.
