Lane Line Detection
Mar 2017 - Mar 2017
When we drive, we use our eyes to decide where to go. The lines on the road that show us where the lanes are act as our constant reference for where to steer the vehicle. Naturally, one of the first things we would like to do in developing a self-driving car is to automatically detect lane lines using an algorithm.

In this project I detected lane lines in images using Python and OpenCV.
Automated quality control for peugeot 206 using image processing
Sep 2004 - Sep 2004
The idea behind this project was to use image processing to obtain various data from the instrumental part of dashboard of Peugeot 206, such as engine led light, left and right indicators’ led light, angle of speedometer indicator for specific speeds, angle of tachometer indicator for specific RPMs, fuel and water-temperature gauges, etc and calculate errors of these indicators and compare them against the standard given by Peugeot. In traditional way a human operator checks all these parts before installing the dashboard on a vehicle by giving the desired input to each part of instrumental panel and checks the result. For example if the input for speedometer is 90 kmph the angle of speedometer indicator must be 80 degrees and the acceptable error is 3 degrees. Using an intelligent computer program to command the instrumental panel and checks the errors can significantly increase the accuracy and speed of the quality control process.
