"How do I make what is abstract tangible?" - Olafur Eliasson, artist Solving engineering problems is fundamentally about taking an abstract concept, and finding a way of mapping it to tangible, useful solutions. Regardless of one's technical proficiency, this cannot be accomplished without empathically understanding human beings, because even though I greatly admire the pioneers of computation, their efforts would be entirely wasted if we couldn't package it into something that is decipherable to an average person. I try to incorporate this philosophy into my engineering work and as such, I am also very interested in understanding UX design, user psychology and more loosely related disciplines, such as game design. Due to this user-centric perspective, I am mostly well-versed in frontend development, but I also have experience using backend technologies, like NodeJS. On the engineering side of things, I also like exploring emerging technologies, architectures and paradigms and as such, I am a big fan of functional programming.

I primarily worked Angular 1.x and ASP.NET MVC, developing both backend and frontend components that communicated through a REST API. Besides development responsibilities, I also learned how to work in a team and how to communicate in a clear and concise way.
